Why I chose
Nico Nice.
I chose the name Nico Nice because it sounds good to me and feels like a good fit. Behind that simple choice are two meanings of the word nice: one about people, the other about what we create.

A name that fits
The sound of Nico Nice was the starting point. I liked it, and it suited me. The name also has a connection to how I think about other people and how I describe our own products.
Friendly and positive
I think being friendly and positive toward other people is a good quality. That is one reason the word nice fits. For me, it has a personal meaning alongside its place in a public name.
Nice can also mean amazing
There is another meaning I have in mind, too. When I describe our own products as nice, I mean amazing. That is my opinion of what we create, expressed through the same everyday word.
New places, new locations
I enjoyed the combination of travelling and production. Discovering new places also meant finding locations we could use for our work. We often recorded vlogs on those trips, so travelling and creating were connected rather than completely separate parts of the experience.
Vlogs and shared projects
We have recorded vlogs in both German and English. Selected earlier travel vlogs are now public again. That is not a return of the entire archive, and a video's publication date does not establish when it was filmed.
Our collaborations with other content creators have also included podcasts, YouTube interviews and challenges alongside productions. Recorded conversations with Jamie can be found in the history of her podcast, Jamie Young Girly Talk. These different formats are part of the background to the person behind Nico Nice, as well as the work associated with the name.
