A personal memory.
Budapest is connected to a personal decision about my name. During a holiday there in early 2023, I came up with Master Nico as a stronger counterpoint to Nico Nice.

The idea during a holiday
Our Budapest stay ran from 28 January to 7 February 2023. During that time, I thought about a name that would emphasise a different side of me. It was my own idea: after considering it, I came up with Master Nico.
Nico Nice expresses something friendly and positive. For the other name, I wanted a stronger, more assertive sound. That contrast was the reason for the choice, rather than a name someone else had suggested.
Travelling and making things together
Jamie and I enjoyed combining travel with creative work. New places also gave us new filming locations, and we often made vlogs along the way. We did a lot of filming in Budapest and Prague.
Those trips were not only about productions. The walking vlog with Jamie is another part of that history: a shared travel memory, represented here by its preview image.
Staying for longer
Alongside Budapest and Prague, we spent longer periods in Bucharest, Bangkok, Athens and Porto. We had an apartment in Thailand for a short time and spent an extended holiday in Athens.
Our German and English vlogs recorded parts of those travels. Selected earlier travel vlogs are now public again, while other recordings are being considered individually. That does not mean the entire archive has returned.
